Auntie Roz wanted to know if anyone has ever seen a host. I stopped in yesterday afternoon about 5pm to see about one of my free rooms in November. There was a man at the computer in the host office. There was also a younger girl who asked if I needed help. I said I wanted to book a room on my platinum card. She looked at my card and left. The man finished what he was doing, went to a drawer, put something in it and said goodbye to the girl as she was coming back. She asked if I wanted a room for Friday night. I wasn't thinking or I would have told her that wasn't possible. I said no, in two weeks.
She said the slot club could only book for that night and they wer sold out. I could come back for Saturday in the morning. I told her I didn't want this weekend, and then she asked if I wanted to leave a message for Crystal who would be in at 8am. I said that would be fine. After her looking into the 3rd drawer for a piece of paper to take the message I told her I would call Crystal in the morning.
In answer to Auntie Roz....I think I saw a host going out the door and ignoring me.
I did call back this morning and booked my room with the ellusive Crystal. Is it worth the frustration?
Why do we keep going back?
