I, myself, did not concur that I had trouble finding a host. I only answered
the first post as to when is the travel promo going to be and my insight as
to the disappearance of the benefits listed in the brochure for the Platinum
level. I don't play that much in the evening and have found various hosts in
and about. Sometime that VIP playing area is good for finding them.
Other tidbits:
The slot club area personnel do not seem linked in communications with the
slot
hosts.
The awarding of a platinum level card does not insure that you will receive
the same level of bounceback each month if you do not keep your handle at that
level.
Of late, I was receiving $100/week for about a 40K handle; I dropped down to
22K and received $75/week this month. Unfortunately, they do not let you know
what handle rates what. Even if you are consistent with, for example, 40K,
they could elect for a certain month to increase/decrease the weekly bb for
whatever reason.
If it hadn't been for that "quad" promotion that they halted quickly, I would
have given up on them. I, also, recently got the platinum and 2 - 3 promos
that I sort of counted on (bb at parties, travel, etc) are no longer existent.
I got on the train after it had left.
