Silverton Four-of-a-Kind Frenzy

Kay and I learned today that the Silverton Four-of-a-Kind Frenzy has
been terminated. Good offers go fast.

It was terminated at 11:59pm on August 17.

The promo lasted ten days.

If a player has a card that has been started, the player is permitted
to complete the card/offer.

We finished our cards today.

I wouldn't call 4% at quarters "good"

What would you call it?

Let me put it another way ... I have to presume that you mean DAMNED
good, at minimum, right?

Harry, most probably he meant exactly what he said. I believe a play
is only good to Paladin if it personally benefits HIM. Since I doubt
that he ever plays at the .25c denonm. (excepting possibly 100 play)
a 4% advantage at quarters would only cause the casino to be infested
with annoying fleas.

Well, I'm a recreational quarter player and I'd have gone to the
Silverton to find out about the bar and lobby inventory, except that
it would have taken a transatlantic flight. The database lists 8/5
Bonus "near hotel lobby". Did these machines count as "lobby machines"
? If yes, they would have been close to 4% (3.89%). What was the the
best game for the promo ? Now that the promo is over, releasing the
information shouldn't hurt anybody.

I'm sorry this promo is gone even though I renamed it "You're Never
Going To Hit Another Quad In Your Life."

It applied to bar machines, and the best plays I found were the 9/6 JoB
progressives at the little bar near the sportsbook (hard to get a seat)
and 8/5 Bonus, 9/7 DB, and 9/6 DDB in the Shady Grove Lounge. There's
a nice corner by the airstream trailer in Shady Grove overlooking the
craps "tub" with only three machines.

I'm told the best machines were two quarter triple plays that were locked up 24/7 for the duration by a team of Smart Players. I'm sure that didn't draw any attention.

That's not very nice (And moderator, what happened to our "be nice or
else" policy?). I converse with players of all denoms. The problem I
have is when people get a really valuable piece of information and
don't understand that sometimes sharing that information vastly
accelerates its fungibility. I don't mean to condescend, but maybe if
you were in my shoes, and knew what I knew, you'd see it more my way.

Harry's second thought was more in line. You'd be surprised who'd line
up for a 4% play at quarters (I was). That's $50 an hour with little
risk. A much, much better play than $1 FPDW with .5% cb, which is also
$50 an hour for most people.

Quarter players are in a different universe, and they really don't
affect the casino's bottom line. Well, not usually (LOL). Quarter
players who out plays at higher levels I have no use for, such as I
have no use for writers who sometimes don't realize their actual, as
opposed to intended audience.

What you say is true about a play being good if it only benefits me.
Well, almost. Hey, at least I'm in the group and not one of maybe
three dozen pros who cull this board looking for stuff they can burn
down personally. Maybe you should address your complaints to them.
