I just got back from staying at the Silverton twice in one week. Got invited to their slot tournament from March 12-15, and then went to Sam's Town for three nights. When ST wouldn't comp me another night because my host wasn't there, I went back to the Silverton and got a suite. They are very nice. The shower has three types of shower heads. The main one is built into the top of the shower in the tile.It showers like it's raining. Then there's the normal type shower head, and below is two jets of water that squirts your midsection. You can turn on any combination that you'd like, but having all three on at once felt great.
As far as the cutbacks go, they no longer give you a free USA paper each day. Their free Bath and Body shampoos and conditioners have been reduced from 2.8 fl. oz to 1.8. For a little while, it looked like they were reducing their cable stations from basic plus to just basic, but when we returned there for our one night stay, it was back to basic plus.
As an aside, I hit a Royal at the Shady Grove Bar playing dollar progressive Bonus Poker. It was quite a nice hit since I won $6863. Best part is it was just a half hour before leaving for home, and it got me ahead for the trip.
