Silverton Comps

Hi - Can anyone give me the Silverton's comp information I need to use the Comp Calculator on the Bob Dancer software I recently purchased? I've called the Silverton twice and both times got a different reason why they couldn't give me that information. The info I need is: 1) the number of points to redeem $1, and 2) the number of dollars of coin-in to earn 1 point.

The software is awesome, although, I don't like having to buy it twice so I can have it on my desktop and my laptop.

You should not have to buy it twice. One of their FAQ items mentions
contacting them if you want to be able to play the game on another
computer you own. I did so and received another authorization ID
without any cost. You might contact them.
Good Luck,

I had the same experience as Bill did when I requested a
second "authorization code" so that I could download the software into
my laptop. I received an immediate answer and the second installation
was not a problem.

It's $1 coin in per point. The old Bob Dancer machines (with new face
plates) that contain full pay games still have the plaques that say
they require $2 coin in per point, but they were awarding points at $1
coin in per when I played last.

For regular comps 500 points = $1 comps. To use points to purchase
Bass Pro Shops gift cards it's 1,000 points for $1.

It just dawned on me to call Sunset and they informed me that there is a free shuttle to the Staions every hour on the half hour daily from 7:30am til 10:30pm weekdays. The pickup is at baggage pickup at ground zero next to the taxi pickup. Shuttle is marked either Sunset of just Stations. I'll try to do my homework before I make inquiries in the future. Many thanks again.....

I guess it can be told now, but there was a 15-10 LDW there not too
long ago which was paying full points. The game disappeared not by
discovery, but because the Optimum Play machines were so popular, they
decided to expand the bank from 6 machines to 10. So, they just
swapped out chips and put the OP in the adjacent bank of 10 next to
where the old bank of 6 was. 1% off the top and mail, some variance,
but not a bad play at all, especially in a market where things are
slowly dwindling.

I've been there/done that several times in the past when well meaning
customers decide to "help" slot operations by pointing out mistakes,
thinking the other machines in the bank are the mistake. While that's
bad enough, quite a bit of the time it's something they wouldn't even
dream of playing themselves. Like the $5 Triple Play NSUD with 7% or
so theo I was playing (they had nickel 50-play SAB with something like
5-6% theo as well, but I wasn't aware of this until after the fact).

I've had a couple of rants about this on my weblog at
paladingaming.net, feel free to scroll back if interested.

Gee, I didn't realize it was a secret. My host knew about it, so I
doubt it's a secret. Give me a break. sheesh.

Thanks for clearing that up. I guess the plaques noting two dollars
per point were for decorative purposes only.
