I've been reading the posts about Silverton with some interest. I've
used hosts there, but just as end of trip play reviewers with a
computer that can comp. I've never had a problem getting a room when I
wanted just by calling the 800#. I haven't tried to use the travel
benefits. Hosts at Silverton seem nice if disinterested. There
doesn't appear to be an incentive for them to establish a relationship
with a player. Just my opinion, of course. Maybe it's me they don't
want to cultivate!
Sorry to read about downgrades at Caesars, but it seemed inevitable
given Harrah's history. I still suspect they were closely watching
reaction to the on again, off again 8/5 BP that occurred a few months
ago at Paris. Is it back now? I recently received a cheerleading
mailer trying to get me to renew my Diamond status by year end ("Time
Is On Your Side"). I don't think so. I'm joining Babe at the El
Cortez.
