Has anybody been there and checked out the VP? I'll be in New Orleans
in about a week and might run over there if there's anything good.
Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Here is some information I recently posted at another site:
"They had a reasonable, although somewhat boring, inventory of video
poker. Virtually all single line games, and it appeared that they
ordered the same game set for all VP machines (similar to what has been
observed at the Island View). At the dollar and $5 level they had 9/6
JOB, NSUD, and 9/6 Bonux Poker Deluxe. There was nothing playable below
the dollar level. I saw one 3/5 play machine which was not yet running,
and two Super Times Pay machines which I could not check out because
they were occupied. I don't have any information about their slot club."
One amusing observation: The top selectable denomination on all the
multi-denom. VP machines contained the good pay tables, while
everything below the top denomination was unplayable, regardless of the
actual denomination. So on the $5/$1 machines, the $1 games were junk,
but you could take three steps over to the $1/.50/.25 machines and find
the good pay tables at the dollar level. I thought this was funny.
