Silver Legacy

There's a report on the database update page of there being ten
MG/TITos with 1-50 coin fullpay KBJW. Can the original poster, or
anyone else, verify this? This would be the only occurence of FPJW
in higher than dollar denoms (the net effect is as if you were
playing a $2.50 machine) that I have ever seen.

Interesting to see if THIS play gets mugged--it's worth over $60/hr!
Since downtown Reno is within the operating radius of Team Nerd, I
have very little hope, but if anyone is reading this and packing
their bags for Reno, let me offer some advice:

1. Don't sit there playing for nine hours at a time.
2. Deliberately slow down your play a tad.
3. In general, don't dress, or act, like the high-IQ societal misfit
whiz kid that reinforces casino management's stereotype of the
dangerous professional advantage gambler.
4. Order a drink! You can just sip it if you want.
5. TIP THE FREAKIN' CHANGE GIRL on a handpay. Nothing will end a
play faster than the rumor circulating that there is a high-rolling
stiff on Bank 27A.
6. Don't clog several machines at once. There are other plays in
downtown Reno (not as good as this--but profitable). Play some live
poker. Even if you ARE a team, don't ACT like one.

Remember that SL is trying to upgrade its VP inventory with the hope
of becoming the most attractive place to play for the local and
visitor CASUAL PLAYER. Attracting a cadre of pros who will milk this
play for all it's worth until it's yanked is NOT what they had in
mind at all. They don't feel--and rightly so--that they exist to
provide a living for a bunch of oddballs who refuse to get a real
job.

I'm sure that the above advice falls on deaf ears, but hey, I'm
feeling quixotic.

BTW: If anyone wants to blame this post for the play's demise, I
would point out that the info is and has been right there in the
database for all to see (which I agree with wholeheartedly).

I certainly hope that Team Nerd and its analogues don't burn Reno VP
to the ground the way they have done in Vegas and Tahoe!

Hi ROJ,

Unless the original poster does not know the correct paytable for
FPKBJW (which I doubt) apparently, this game is (was?) there.

As Janet Peerson commented, on vpFREEreno, the SL will probably soon
change the machines that contain the FPJW to a 5 coin max, at .25
denom. That's my guess (and wish, as well). This is how they
operate their FPDW progs., and they seem to be profitable enough, to
the SL, that they've had them around for several years.

I love the SL. I think that their vp inventory is very good, their
casino is attractive, their rooms & suites are nice, their
restaurants are excellent (particulary Sterling's Steak House) and
that they are as loose with their comps as any casino at which I've
ever stayed. BTW, I am NOT a stockholder. This is just my personal
and subjective opinion. However, I don't think that the SL has any
obligation to provide greedy vultures with a feast, at their
expense! How much better, for the vast majority of us, if they can
make a decent profit off of the clueless players, and still permit
the more knowledgable among us, to have some nice, if more modest,
winning sessions at FPJW, .25, 5 coin machines .

Cheers,

Babe
