SILVER LEGACY VIDEO POKER COMPS

As it was explained to me last summer when Silver Legacy implemented the present comp video poker tracking system: it is based on a games expected loss. When I questioned how you could earn comps on the quarter FPDW & FPJW positive expectation games I was not sure I understood the answer. The video poker comp system is complex that includes your actual gains & losses & time played if I remember correctly from eight months ago.

My comp rate my last two Silver Legacy day trips playing quarter 9/6 DDB single line games with the progressive royal flush over $1400 has been about the same as Marks reported .40 of 1%.

My opinion on Silver Legacy video poker comps on quarter FPDW & FPJW games is that anything is a gift. The potential hourly profit from playing these two positive expectation games far exceeds any loss in comp benefits.

Expected loss or theoretical loss is different from the long term expected return since many people do not play the game using perfect strategy. Thus even a game like FPDW would have a theoretical loss.

Does anyone have an idea why my SL comp rate has been very low on the past few trips? The trip before last it was .05%. On the last trip it actually varied from day to day...the first day it was about .14% and the 3rd day it was .08%. I play 90% quarter 9/6 DDB SPIN and 3 play. I never play the DW or JW. My host was supposed to look into this but she never called back.

You got on their bad list somehow. What did you do? Have you beat them so far? Standard policy is "Losers Only". It could be your host turned you in as someone who knows too much.

I believe that I've had a winning record there most if not all years but how do you explain why the comp rate varies day by day?
