Silver Legacy trip in the works. Some info and a few ?'s.

Looks like I will be making my first trip to Reno in over 3 years in
a couple months.

I looked over the database and I decided the SL would be my best
choice. I picked up the phone and called the recommended host, Marge
Matteoni. I gave her a little of my history at other properties and
the level of comps I generally receive. To my surprise she not only
comped all 4 nights up front, but also limited F&B (which is
everything but Sterling's). I asked her what play level in generally
expected for that comp level and she said it normally takes 800pts
per day. I quickly did the math ($16K CI/day) and told her that is
quite a bit more than I usually play. Also told her I didn't want to
misrepresent my play level and have us both in an uncomfortable
situation. She assured me everything would be ok because it was their
slow season (Oct) and she had some discretion to lower the
requirement. Sounds to me like they're really hurting!

We chatted for a while and I did my best to extract additional
information. She told me that in the Fall, they will be rolling out a
3 tiered card system. Barron's will be their elite level (she
mentioned another level, but I failed to note it). She also said room
offers would not count against a player's comp account when that
system is rolled out. Perhaps this is why she offered to give me RLFB
even though I told her I would not be anywhere near the 800pt/day
range in play.

Looking forward to the trip and any/all info on Silver Legacy is
appreciated. Rooms to request, other VIP-related perks, etc. I would
especially like to read any reviews on eating establishments. I like
eating good food!

Thanks in advance.
