I just returned from my first reno trip two weeks ago and am amazed
that I have already recieved an offer from all 3 of the places I
played fairly strongly. One is from the S.L. and involves 'holiday
shopping $' does anyone know the formula for the shopping $/coin in??
Also are the prices for the shopping items elevated or at full retail
or what?>>>

If this is the 12/1 - 12/3 Shopping Spree, I believe the shopping is
restricted to their shops where items are priced quite a bit higher than retail.
Before attending you should probably get on their web site & see if the shops
are the kind you'd like to shop at. My wife finds it hard paying the prices
although the items that she's gotten are of good quality in terms of clothing &
things like tea or coffee.

That being said you ought to consider attending especially if:

1. You have a lot of play since 1/1/06.

2. You can make the only shopping day of 12/3/06 between 9 am - 2:30 pm.

3. There's a snowstorm that weekend which will keep people away from
competing with you for the other prizes of a TV, home theater, stereo, etc & the
chance to bid on a 2004 Toyota Spyder. (If it's really a 2004 then it was most
likely a slot carousel prize that nobody has won for a couple of years & you
must take the prize -- Californians should avoid this because it won't be
smogged for CA.)

Even though I have a lot of play in 2006, I'm having a hard time convincing
myself to fight through the snowstorm.
