Silver Legacy question

I stayed at the SL over Memorial Day weekend and gave them $80,000
of coin-in over four days. A host reviewed my play and fully comped
the room and food charges. Since then, I have never received a
single piece of mail from them, not even a newsletter or anything,
let alone any offers.

Is this unusual? Should I be doing something to get on their
mailing list?

Thanks,

JD

You might just double check your address in their Legacy Card database.
Never hurts to call, they got 1-800- phone numbers.
Did you get the host's business card? Lotsa phone numbers to call on it.
You are in the comped Suite range also, ask for it when you arrange your next visit
via your host.
You could even foist the dearth of mailings problem on a host, save you the trouble.

Next step up after the suite is pre-comped food, just charge to your room, save you
the promo booth visits, even saves you discussing it with the host durng your stay:
just make sure it's subtracted about 1PM for the day before's food. (Tips are separate
- I recommend cash for tips, personal preference.)

OK, hope you kept track of the game changes, if any, in our great database.

Thanks Mark for your response. I called and they did not have my
mailing address.

I am still trying to understand how to maximize my comp
opportunities. When I stayed last time, I charged all the food to
the room, and didn't redeem any points off of the card. We ate
conservatively, not knowing how much would be comped. Then on the
day I left, the host reviewed the room bill and comped all but tips
and movies. I didn't check the card to see if she took off all my
points. Would it be more effective to use up the all the points
during my stay for food, spa, etc.? If I cash in all my points will
the host still look at my overall play and comp the room?

Thanks again for any advice on this issue.

I would hope that you would be comped for $20,000/day! I have a
contact and phone # if you continue to have problems:

Tami Roggensack
Database Marketing Director
1-800-687-7733 X 7416

According to her, the marketing dept. sends out offers every other
month. For $4000/day you get 2 comped weekday nights. There is also
sometimes an extra. This time it is $125 cash after 300 pts($6000
Coin In) are earned. For your level of play you should get some great
offers.

Absence of mailers is not uncommon, and most often affects new
players. It's usually not intentional and is often due to a data
entry error.

Many of the new slot club systems have a box to check
for "mailings" ... unfortunately the default is "no mail", so if this
box does not get checked ... no mail. A call to the booth, a host,
or someone in marketing can get this fixed (and confirm correct
mailing address).

Most mailings start after 30 days (from sign-up) and certainly by 60
days. If nothing shows up beyond that time frame, make a call.
