Silver Legacy: New Star Card Program; Any info?

If you're getting offers from SL; what do you get for what Star Card Level?
I'm considering playing there to get the "Premier" card...would that get me weekend rooms?

SL doesn't like VP players; at least the marketing dept. doesn't. I played there during 09 and 10 and for awhile I was getting 3 free nights but rarely for Sat. My CI was 8K/day on average. Comps were pitiful. My offers for the past 8-10 months have been 2 free nights Mo-Th and $5 FP. However, you may do better with a host. Mine will usually comp 3 nights inc. Sat but you will need some history. BTW, I play 9/6 DDB but it seems they lump all VP together so you might as well play 25 cents FPDW or JW.

I don't have good look going through hosts because I'm too cheap for that.
Thanks for the heads-up though, guess I WON'T pick it up.

Ya this is just a sign o the times, we can get pissed and all that, but things change. Hell this podunk indian casino in my area now identifies "advantage players". What do they have you ask? one bank of .25 JOB with a very nice meter. All multi points days are now cut from vp there. I got cut to $5 freeplay a week after I banged it when they used to have a big point promo. (I was loser on it btw)

Same place I took nearly 6 figures for a deacade with misc stuff like counting, high limit bonus slot machines, and cashback days with a 3% edge..unmolested ..that was then this is now.

If you are low rolling the El Cortez in LV will treat you well ( and seriously I highly recommend them , but its tough to find places in Reno/LV that will treat visitors like they did in the past.

It's not TOO tough...I could practically live in Reno free right now...

I recently played there and got to this level. I have been blackballed because I didn't hide my play - new to VP and learning curve wasn't quite fast enough.

Then don't like to comp weekends, but if you ask they will give it to you. I played almost exclusively (99% of my play there) the FPDW. Starting off everything was great .3% comp (1x day card biased to comp) or .12% free play (1x day card biased to free play) and tier of $5 of coin in per point. They have a lot of comp and free play bonus days many 2x and some 3x and 4x. They changed their WOW promo to a wheel that has mostly really low value prizes, so I would not suggest playing fridays and saturdays for the 5x wow entries.

The other perks I got were $6/wk in free play and a monthly email offer for two nights and $45 in free play. I got invited to a couple of tournements and a couple of free show tickets and any 2 for 1 show ticket that I wanted.

However, I was warned that I should play another game besides the FPDW after they gutted my comp, free play, and tier rates to 1/10th of the above (tier has been turned off completely for my account) and I inquired about the change (also all other offers have ceased). I found that this new rate applied to all of the VP machines, so there is no incentive for me to play other games there.

I am amazed that playing the quarter machine caused my actions to be flagged and then punished to this level - is this the norm or is this an indicator that the Silver Legacy is in extreme economic desperation?

If you decide to play at the Silver Legacy be careful to play a mix of machines.

Well I play FPDW and just the game itself is enough for me. I really wouldn't complain if they blocked up the card reader.
Free booze and FPDW-anything else is pure gravy.
