SILVER LEGACY FPDW GAMES REMOVED

Returned from my bus daytrip to Reno 12/21 with the news that Thursday
night/Friday morning the six quarter FPDW games/machines by the South
East entrance have had their Duces game paytables downgraded to
1,2,3,4,4,9,15,25,800. I asked why & was told they were losing money.
I played them for a few hours & ended up a few $ ahead. The FP pair of
kings or better Joker Poker games upstairs by the Keno game are still
there.

As we say about friends who leave the clique:
A moment of silence for our Old Friend. .. That's enough.

Cut my first VP teeth on SL-FPDW - albeit different platform - the old slow coin-droppers.
With Progressives. I hit my first RF on these! Holding AT (!!!) I don't hold that anymore.
And I discovered the comp world there too, which makes it easy to visit when I want.

Altho Silver has chipped away by losing the progs, they had kept the remaining paytable
intact for 5 yrs. Twas a good run.

Still got the Joker Game ........

So, is it true those buses get pretty good cash offers/freeplay deals
from each casino they stop at?

No, the great deal is the RT fare of only $28 from the
Sacramento area. "All West" bus line runs two daily
trips from several Sacramento area stops to Reno.
Three stops in Reno: Boomtown $5 cash back and $5 meal
coupon; Silver Legacy $10 cash back and $5 meal
coupon; Sparks Nugget $5 cash back.

The cost of the bus ride from Sac to Reno is 28.00, I think you get
10.00 back and 5.00 in food credit. They leave at 8tish in the morning
and leave SL at 4:30 in the afternoon. This is new, after the first of
the year. The name is all west and number is 916-423-4000. I get to SL
by the all west and if I want to go anywhere else, I take the local
bus for 1.75 as I am too cheap to take a taxi!! I tried to get a
carpool set up, to save on gas, but it did not take off.

Some buses stop at all the casinos and pickup all the cash back,
probably out of SF Chinatown. Something like Lucky 777 tours. The
drivers get stuff too, for bringing in bodies. I think some even make
a double stop later to double dip. Some have a chip buy discount, like
$100 in chips for $80, maybe you have to know how to read Chinese.
