Silver Legacy: daily play levels and benefits?

From: Jean-Baptiste Queru <jb@queru.com>
From various sources, I was about to gather the following:

$10K a day gives Sterling status, and comped rooms.
$24K a day gives Baron status, and RFB.

Are those correct? Are there any significant benefits offered by the
Sterling and Baron levels? Are there other things I need to know
before I consider playing there?

For Sterling, for instance, they want $10K a day for three consecutive
trips, with each trip being more than one day. I have lots of play over the
years, but only 2 consecutive trips at that level since the new system. On
the phone, I talked to host "Carl," who was very nice about discussing my
play & said he'd bring it up to the directors to give me the higher level
even though I technically need another trip.

Sterling or Baron get you a shorter line to the coffee shop, & likely to
other restaurants. The best benefit is regular offers of $250 cash for $6000
coin-in. Also, frequent offers for concerts & events, which always seem to
come with one free night, & the 2nd at casino rate. In the past, when I
played $10K/day, going to the VIP desk always got the 2nd night comped too,
though I haven't done this since the new system. My understanding is that
Baron status gets you similar offers with $500 cash.

A great feature of SL is that the multi-line nickel JOB gets you the coin-in
in a few hours with minimal risk of disaster. If you like high-variance, the
multi-line quarter Double-Double Bonus is a fun ride.

Thanks Stuart for the feedback. Yes, those multi-line machines are
tempting. Seeing such machines available in a casino where it's
possible to reach a high status based on a daily average (as opposed
to an annual total) is what made me consider such play.
