Sick player???

About a month ago I got a Merit Ion counter top amusement game. It
sits on my kitchen island. Lately my wife has started playing the
game and has spent hours on the game Royal Flash. I mean hours and
hours. She can also be caught at casinos playing vp for hours and
hours. Here is someone who only played Pac Man maybe 10 times in her
life. She doesn't play pool or play cards etc.......EXCEPT VP. Now
she's playing this amusement game hours on end.

Question; 1. If a person plays video games for hours, for amusement
only, are they addicted?? 2. Are they addicted if they play a lot of
golf? Is a pro golfer an addict? 3. If one plays a lot of golf
shooting to be a pro then are they an addict or just a person in golf
study. 4. At what point does a person in vp study become a
degenerate gambler?

By the way, you wouldn't have a hard time finding me on a video game;
vp or otherwise. Go back 30 years and you might call me a wizard.
That's pinball wizard. Don't mention Eucher, Gin, BJ or live Poker;
all of which I have played for too many hours. I even have some time
in at the pool hall working on pool study. I'm in the home, club and
casino study program. It's my wife I have to worry about.

Sometime I lose a lot, but I'm not worried because.... I KNOW HOW TO
GAMBLE!

Cheers....Jeep
