Shreveport/Bossier City VP inventory

Due to my pending retirement in less than two years, I am limiting my
visits to Las Vegas to four this year and only one next year. The
lump sum check I receive for my unused leave will make a nice gaming
bankroll. As I result, I will be making at least one trip a month to
Shreveport/Bossier City to play on weekends. I will be posting
future best game updates on:

As of this weekend, the best games available are at BOOMTOWN,
Bossier. 9/6 JOB, NSUD and full pay Pickem are available at the
quarter level. Details & exact locations for these machines can be
found in vp-heaven message #336.

HARRAHS has reduced their inventory to only six playable games, .25
FPPE available in Bally's Gamemakers located on the lower level.

Hollywood has NO PLAYABLE VP GAMES. The best games available are at
the 98% or below level.

I will be visiting the Horseshoe and Isle of Capri next weekend to
get an update.

The 9/6 JOB are located in the 3/5 Play IGT machines near the bar on the
lower level. These machines also contain 99.73% NSUD. The .50 JOB are at
the bar on the Main Level but only pay 3125 coins for a royal flush.

The Hollywood has .25 3play and 5play with 9/7DB and super aces. They also have a spin poker or two with 15/9 nsud.. May have some decent dollar games but haven"t looked very close. Horshoe has taken out all of their decent.25 games and most of their 1$ games. Best .25 there is 8/5 JOB on 3 or 5 play or 15/9 dueces on same machines . Their CB rate is .25. Haven"t been to the isle lately , as of 3 months ago they had shredded their Vp inventory. SInce Harrahs did the same about 2 months ago HOllywood appears to have the best VP inventory. I'm confused. The only version of NSUD (99.73%) which, I am familiar, has
the payscale 800-200-25-16-10-4-4-3-2-1. A deuces game with 15/9 (5kind/SF)
payscale is usually 100.76% FPDW( 300-200-25-15-9-5-3-2-2-1) or deuces game
with 98.91% or less return. I am certain that Horseshoe does not have FPDW,
so a 15/9 payscale would indicate 98.91%, 97.97% or 95.34%. Do you have the
rest of the pay scale to go with the 15/9?

HORSESHOE has three .50 and $1 9/6 JOB on the lower level.

I am curious as to why you believe HOLLYWOOD offers the best inventory in
Shreveport/Bossier with the games you listed. BOOMTOWN also gives cashback
and offers .25 & .50 9/6 JOB (99.54%), NSUD 99.73% and sixteen games with
99.95% quarter PICKEM, which has the lowest variance in video poker at 15.
BOOMTOWN also offers 3/5 Play SuperAces but the variance is a whopping
103.36 (same as Hollywood). I also think 9/7 DB is available in the 3/5
plays at BOOMTOWN but I don't play DB and will check for sure this weekend.

They still have 3 triple play on the bottom floor left over from their remodeling and moved about 50 ft from original location. As of 2 months ago they had 9/6, 9/6/5 DDB and true NSUD in .25 denomitation. (sp) Kat

I wasn't aware that 9/6/5 DDB was an IGT option. If that is the case, the
return would rise to 100.39 %, 41.94 variance, making it a higher return
than 10/6/4 which has always been considered full play for that game.
BOOMTOWN would not only have the best games in Shreveport/Bossier but would
have the best DDB game in the world.

I don't play DDB, but my wife does. She hit two royal flushes within 15 minutes of each other on those machines at Boomtown last Thursday night. I BELIEVE I noticed her getting 30 credits for her flushes and 45 for her boats. I do not know what the payback is.

I play the NSUD on those same machines. They are .25 and there are 4 of them in that bank. The pay scale is 800-200-25-16-10-4-4-3-2-1. Horseshoe has 98.91% DW games at best, all located on the bottom and middle floors in multi-line machines (as of Jan. 1). They removed the .25 JOB on the top floor late last summer.

Currently, we feel that Boomtown offers the best play in town. They comped all meals and our room last weekend as well.

Keith, I agree that BOOMTOWN is the best play in Shreveport/Bossier right
now. ( I think Hollywood is by far the worst ) I believe those DDB are
9/6/4 and return 98.98%, which become positive with the cashback and room
comps.

My thinking runs to # of machines. Unless Boomtown has added more machines, they had very few with decent pay schedules, and on weekends almost impossiable to play on. Holly wood has lots of machines with the 9/7 .25 3 or 5 play and a machine to play can be found without too much trouble. Kat

Then I am wrong and the machines are9/6/4. My understanding from past posts on these boards is that La. is not allowed by law to return 100^ on any VP machines. Kat
