I had a similar experience about a year ago when I went to bat for Jean Scott
on a topic that wasn't even about RS. The next day I get a private email
castigating me for being one of Jean's lackeys.
I had consciously never posted anything positive or negative about RS out of
respect for one of his strong supporters. I will say that I left VPHeaven
when he began to dominate the board by perpetuating threads way beyond a
decent burial.
When I came to vpFREE, I endeavoured to keep an open mind about RS & his
views. That ended the night I got the attack mail & I blocked his address
without replying. I had seen from his modus operandi on VPHeaven that if one
replied, it would start a frustrating thread where RS relished the role of
antagonist. Decided early on that the best course of action was to let RS
waste his time but not mine.
Note that my comments are not about RS' viewpoints but how he goes after you
if you write something he doesn't like.
