Should Casinos Award Slot Points Based on Age?

The Fiesta casinos in LV used to have multi-point days for members of their 55 plus club.

I'm not an expert on slot club rules and awards. But I honestly can't remember at Harrahs, MGM-Mirage, Wynn or any other place I've played that more points could or would be earned by players of different ages.

For April, May and June (and maybe continuing after that) the Stations and Fiestas are having "Senior Wednesdays". 5x points, half price food when using points, a cash drawing of $3,500 at each location at 4pm. Their definition of "senior" is age 50 and above.

Its a great deal, especially at the Fiestas.
