Was in my hometown of Buffalo for family gathering. Stayed 4 nights at casino walking distance from Niagara Falls. I have a host there now from last two visits in 2017 so I got a pre-comped corner suite with river and Falls view: nice! I spent daytime with fam and played video poker in the evenings after midnight.
Days 1-4 I dropped 3700 playing 5 line x 50c Bonus; $1 single line Bonus Dlx with a prog RF that had a very fast meter; (It seemed to grow even when no one was playing the bank of 12); $1 single, 3-line and 5-line Bonus; $1 DDB and $5 JoB. $1 and $5 full-pay Pick’em was the best return game offered, but I still can’t get “into” that game.
After checking out after the 4th night, I played a couple hours and finally hit a RF on one line of 5 x $1 Bonus for $4000. That brought me up to +$900 for the trip, so I didn’t return to the casino for any more late-night play.
Ice storm in western NY last weekend made for crazy driving, especially if the plows hadn’t made it through yet. Snowed a lot this week, (wtf! - it’s April!) P.S. always look in the trunk of your rental car for a scraper - was surprised to find one, even given it’s snow country.
