5 times a year and generally play $1 DDB. Several comments on this
board talk about short term play versus long term. What determines
short term play. I love to play and usually play for 10-12 hours
per day, sometimes more. I generally get way down at the beginning
but have been fortunate to pull it out at the end by hitting Royals
and 4 A's., but not always. How do you manage the time and bankroll
especially during losing streaks?

We often stay in LV for long periods of time, especially considering the
relatively limited gambling budget we're on.
The only thing we've found really do-able is to stick to a daily budget with
what money we have going in. If it's a small amount, we arrange other
activities during the day. If we win a jackpot, we decide how much of it is going
into that trip's budget and we're not as strict about parcelling that out; we may
play it all at once.
It is fun losing the whole day's money and then getting in back at the end!
In that case, we definitely spend it on that trip, unless it is the last day.
