NYNY was always a bit strange. Stop the cars and ask the driver to
see thier drivers license. (dah...yep I am driving a car and I have
a drivers license)...what did that do other than make the line long
to get in the parking lot? I quit playing there when they got rid
of their decent plays. I don't enjoy the strip anyway, so it was
not a big lost to me except that I do love the resturant "America".
They have good food and nice service. Thankfully, no one was killed
but my question - I read that it was an off-duty police officer that
stop this guy and not one of NYNY security officers. Where were
they?

Palms parking:
The construction? near the west parking lot? makes parking a bit of a problem.? Most people as they enter the parking structure on the westside follow the signs on the outside of the building entrance showing valet straight ahead and a right turn for self-parking.
When the valet is not in attendance (usually Monday - Thursday), the wrought iron gates are open straight ahead as you enter.? At these times, you are allowed to park in the valet section.? The word is getting out while a few weeks back, this lot was quite empty.?
Chevron gas cards:
My supply of last year's? $25 Chevron gas cards are now showing $24.77 available at the pump.? As we start to earn others at the present South Point promo, try to use your oldest first .? Many gift card to have some built-in minimal charge/month if the cards are outstanding after a year or whatever stated
time period.
Wynn buffet:
I had two guests meeting me for a late lunch at the Wynn buffet.? The lunchtime ends at $3:30p.m. and that is also the start of the dinner buffet.? I asked the personnel how they manage exiting the late lunchers from the newly arriving dinner crowd.? They don't!? If you buy and enter at lunch prices before 3:30p.m., you are welcome to continue through when the additional dinner items are now added to the selection.? Still recommend verification if you do go quite late for lunch.
Frontier's final insult
Over a month ago, most Frontier players did receive letters outlining the last dates to redeem any cashback with their impending closure.? Those of us with additional comp credits started using same with vouchers for even the deli counter, the coffee shop, Panda Express, the Mexican restaurant, Gilley's and Phil steakhouse which were all still opened and operational.
Just around the 4th of July, the slot desk would not issue a comp to the still opened Phils even when you had enough points on the books.? Comps are still always at the discretion of the property but it had only been players' experience that if 86'ed and/or "vacated" from a property would you then lose your comp credits.? What a way to treat their customers now that the property was sold.

Yikes! I hope not since I still have over $3000 worth left. On the back
they say, "If no date is shown, then the card will not expire. This
card is not subject to maintenance fees." There is no date on my
cards. There is a code CH2006A.
