Back when I managed bowling centers, the women's rooms were always more
disgusting than the men's. Wasn't even a close comparison, both in consistency
and grossness. The men's rooms suffered more violent damage, like bowling
balls being used to smash toilets, but the women's were more consistently
trashed.
As far as the person posting about shoes on the machine ledge, if I were
next to you, you could bet that my left foot would be on that ledge. Back
problems make it impossible to sit at an upright for more than 10 or 15 minutes.
If you were next to me and didn't like it, I'd politely offer you three
options:
1. Move.
2. Go get Security and see if they care (good luck with that one).
3. Kiss my...... well, never mind.
If you don't like shoes on the shelf, then don't lick the shelf.

PS more germs are found in womens restrooms because women spend more
time in there and tend to bring in disgusting children.
