Shoes Thrown

The embarrassing throwing of shoes at President Bush signifies that the shoe is considered the filthiest thing in the world, because of all the dirt and germs that it has tread on. Now, maybe those who try to "make themselves comfortable" by propping their shoes on ledges supporting slot machines, will finally put a stop to this dirty and disgusting practice.

In other words, "if the shoe fits, wear it".

Next time I am playing slots in Iraq or Iran I promise not to put my
feet up.

Exactly why I ask all guests in my home to remove his or her shoes.

I never cease to be amazed when the occasional new guest at my home
gives me a funny look when I ask that they remove their shoes before
entering....but then again if you took stats at the % of people who
don't wash with soap and water after exiting the stall in the casino
bathroom......oh, nevermind...

Two things I have read and stated as fact (I cannot reference it nor
prove it, but I believe it)

1. Most germs and thus illneses in the home come from the floor,
with
germs being tracked in from the outside. Recommendation: Leave
shoes
at the door, or better yet outdoors.

2. Washing one's hands at least 5 times per day is as effective as
getting the flu vacine to prevent the flu.

Same here. I have no plans to play in the Middle East. I doubt that
they would be allowed to build casinos there anyway because it is a sin.

PS more germs are found in womens restrooms because women spend more
time in there and tend to bring in disgusting children.
