You were much more civil than I would have been. I treat them as
rudely as they are treating me by telling me how to play my money. I
think these people are often trying to hustle tips by telling you how
to play and then if for some strange reason something goes right,
they act like they are the reason for your win, and therefore are
entitled to a tip.

I was playing a triple play NSUD at Harrah's Tahoe when a man came
up behind
me and started making all kinds of comments about my play. He'd
say "thatta
baby" and "good one", etc. When I held 3 to a Royal over 4 to a
flush he
lectured me- "I know it's tempting to go for the royal in those
situations
but mathematically it's better to go for the flush." I just glared
at him
and said "Oh really?". Unfortunately I did not hit a royal but he
did slink
off after that. I almost pulled out my strategy chart to show him
but then
thought better of it.
