Sorry, but I'm pretty sure this is not correct. I don't know exactly why you
were receiving the "top mailer," but your play on the Deuces wasn't it.
Previous play, computer error, who knows?
I am friends with one of the slot club supervisors there. She told me that
play on those machines would, at MOST, get you $10/week in FP. Which was pretty
much the same as you got without playing at all! Several other players I
know who played those machines corroborate this. Ten dollars each week, max, due
solely to playing those machines. Or for previous play there, maybe the
Deuces play didn't matter. I do know that the theo on those machines was set to
ZERO, so no promos/mailers/comps should have been generated.
February was also the first month for me without a mailer, and I haven't
played there since they shorted the $2/$5 8/5 BP machines. Might have been last
April.

Yes and no. Even though you wouldn't earn points, your play on those
machines did get you mailers. So I usually would pick one session
out of the month to play with the card in, which was enough to get me
the top mailer, invites to the dinners, promos like the free football
parlay cards, etc... Actually this past month was the first month I
didn't get a calendar from them, and the last time I played was in
April, so it certainly had some residual benefits as well.
