Sharing Info On Good VP...Resent

My recollection of the ACD outing was somewhat different,
so I reread the thread. Here's some pertinent details:

The $1 FPDW were outed on vpFREE in a 4:12 PM post
on 12 DEC 2005.

Then it was reported that they were shut down and removed
later on that same day.

So, please explain how I was helped when the $FPDW I had played for a

I doubt if reporting it on this list had much to do with the
machines being closed. They were widely known and
heavily played before that happened.

Agreed, though posting about them might possibly have
sped up their removal by a day or two.

Before being posted there was heavy play even some
IDIOTS playing two machines at once. I am not saying
that posting a big play wont kill it, but this time that doesn't
seem to be the case

This is a fundamental logical error many unschooled people make:

that correlation equals causation. "A" happens, then "B" happens; A did
not necessarily CAUSE B.

The ACD machines had been getting pounded for quite some time. The

posting of the play on VpFree came quite late in the day. It is
possible that the posting triggered the removal, but by no means is
that a given. As another poster remarked, the $FPDW at the Hard Rock
outlived its "outing" on VpFree for several months.

The fundamental assumption that the Paranoia Contingent is making is

that EVERY GOOD PLAY IS THE RESULT OF A MISTAKE by the casinos. They,
rather than auditing their own games, rely on VpFree to alert
themselves to the fact that they have screwed up the paytables on their
own machines. I don't need to point out the gaping holes in this
assumption.

It is glaringly obvious that you are a student of F. Lee Bailey.
