Nick,
The hand you are talking about is easy to miss. That's the bad news. The good news is that it doesn't cost you anywhere near the 2% - 4% you are quoting in Winpoker.
You are probably looking at the accuracy number. Let's say your accuracy number is 97%. That means you are misplaying 3 hands out of 100. Winpoker is just reporting the errors. It doesn't differentiate between a small error, SF3 vs 2 hi cards or a huge error, Hi pair over RF3.
What you really want to look at is the "Error Effect on total return" section. If you don't have any other errors besides the SF3 error we are discussing, I'd estimate that the error costs you 0.1% at the most.
Another thing you can do to practice is use the Training Modes > Advanced > Fixed cards option and set up 3 SF cards and then play a bunch of hands to get a feel for what the hands look like.
In Frugal , you can actually generate a strategy card where you put 2 hi cards over SF3 and see exactly how much it costs you in the long run.
In summary, it's good to review our play to make sure we are playing well. I don't think the error you mention is very serious at all. Certainly not a decision on whether or not to play.
