service at the Palms in Las Vegas

Is it me, or is service on the downside at the Palms? I have been
there twice in the last month, and things don't feel like they did a
few months back. Yesterday, the line at the slot club booth
stretched out to 25 people - yes, I counted. The lines at the cash
booth also moved slowly. One person waiting to in line made the
comment he was headed to the Rio where they had adequate staff. I
guess the worst thing was the 15 minute wait for a coin fill on my
machine. I have always liked the Palms, but am questioning whether
it is worth the hassle. Any other experiences like mine?

I was there late a couple of weeks ago playing around 10:30 PM and
it was very loud from all the music. I'm not against rock and roll
but I like to be able to concentrate on my video poker when I'm
playing.

While I was playing I was thinking this place would have been really
cool when I was 25 but now its just loud.
