Generally a 50,000 credit reversible royal (Either AKQJT or TJQKA) adds about 0.47% to the ER. (Per Frugal VP 9-6 DDB is 99.45% with this feature.) The one way 100,000 credit version adds slightly less. In the 50,000 coin version having three to the sequential dealt is stronger than three of a kind (except aces in a DB or DDB game.)or a pat straight. On the 100,000 credit version it is also stronger than a pat flush. In the Chicago Area we used to have $1 9-6DDB with the 50,000 credit reversible royal and a progressive meter on the normal royal. In this game the pat flush would be broken to hold TJQ suited at just over 7,500 coins. Other 3 royals slightly higher and this value was also affected by SF penalties.

Subject: [vpFREE] Sequential Royal bonus payouts
Can someone please tell me just how much a sequential royal bonus jackpot adds to the EV of a game? I'm referring to the standard bonus that I typically see: $12.5K for 25c, up to $50K for $1 VP.
Also, while admittedly hitting one of these is extremely unlikely, is it correct to let go of a high pair in favor of three to a sequential royal?
Thanks in advance,
John
