Seneca Niagara

<Does anyone in the group have plans to check out the NY casino
opening New Years Eve?

Neil:
If it's anything like when Casino Niagara on the Canadian side opened, think
we will be waiting a couple of week to let the crowds die down. Once the
floor gets packed, they only let so many people in at a time & in our neck of
the woods, it's too cold to stand outside in a long line waiting to get in.
I know people who waited 3 hours to get in back when Casino Niagara opened.

They've been really playing it up big on the news & in the press for their
grand opening tomorrow. Governor Pataki does the ribbon cutting at noon &
then the doors open. It will be the first time that Vegas type slots will be
available in NY. There are 2,600 slots ready to go & 1,800 of them are IGT
machines.

Unlike Casino Niagara across the border, they will be giving comp drinks of
whatever you want. Wonder if that will be a draw to bring the Canadians over
here to gamble. It's kinda nice to go to Casino Niagara in Canada & give the
change people $100 & get $155 back due to the exchange rate of money. On the
other hand, had a Royal a few months back for $1,000 Canadian & when I
exchanged it back to American money, I ended up with $629.
Time will tell how sucessful the new Seneca Niagara Casino will be.

We just booked our May reservations on Southwest, nonstop out of Buffalo, NY
to Vegas $215 per person roundtrip with all the fees, Fitzgeralds for 7
nights $215 for both of us & Alamo midsize $147 (with all fees) for a trip
for 2 of us for 7 nights stay for under $800!!!! Just love it!!

Linda in Rochester who usually lurks!!!
