On a return trip from 8 days in Key West yesterday I stopped in to the
Seminole Hardrock. We had a couple of hours to kill before our return
flight out of nearby Ft. Lauderdale airport. Nice pool. A spacious well
designed casino. Entertainment and shopping areas. A very nice facility,
but all machines I saw were unabashedly bingo based. With decent vp and
comp opportunities, I would easily make a few days available for a visit
during the frigid Chicago winter, but I guess this is what FLA allows. They
had a large poker room/area. The highest bet limit listed on the board was
$2. This has to get pretty tedious for the player who knows what he/she is
doing. They were running tournaments so maybe there are opportunities
there.
