I am currently running both of the above (as well as MS Visual Basic
6.0) under Windows XP; no relevant problems.
Has anyone installed either Frugal VP or VPSM under Windows Vista; if
so, under which version (home basic, home premium, home optimum)?
It is far from clear whether any new versions, for Vista, will be
developed; I'm wondering whether existing versions "should"
install/run properly under vista.

My daughter installed FVP on a computer with Vista and it ran fine. I'm not sure which version of Vista it was, but probably home basic since it came on a new computer I just bought my granddaughter.

Compatability wizard works to install some software but it didn't for
Frugal Vp. I installed Frugal Vp under Win Vista home basic. I had to
do this by going into safemode. The only problem; so far; is that the
help files will not run under Vista.
