Hi Gang:
I saw the other day that someone posted that the Seven Stars Lounge at the
Harrah's in Hammond, Ind., was, BY FAR, the best lounge of that type in
the country.
Hedy and I have never been to Hammond (it's the Horseshoe, I believe), but
we find it hard to believe that this lounge is better than the Seven Stars
Lounge at Harrah's in Atlantic City.
The 7* Lounge in AC is spacious (it's spread out over three large rooms)
with numerous flat-screen TV's, a fireplace and a full bar. Besides a number
of large and small tables, it offers sofa seating in both perimeter rooms
(the bar area is in between). It also has a different eclectic menu on the
days it is open (Thursday, Friday and Saturdays) with waitress service!
The food (especially the soups, sandwiches and desserts) is excellent, the
ambiance extremely pleasant and the service very good.
Has anyone been to both of these lounges so they can offer an informed
opinion?
Regards,
CoachVee & Hedy
