The article says you can play progressive video poker at the bar. I thought when they remodeled the bar a couple years ago they removed all the video poker. Did you see them there again recently?

That may be "my bad." I had it in my notes, but maybe not. Will check that
again next time I'm over that way.

I asked about this in a post maybe a few months ago. In fact, it might have been you who answered me. I was very surprised to read, I think on vpfree2, that they had removed all the bar machines. Weird, because bars and video poker are such a great match. It's a slam-dunk.

I played there over a few years ago and their game (best) was 9-6-5 DB with a 1% meter. Sorry to see that go, I hope they have returned. I always liked that place. Classy joint.

Stopped by today to buy some coffee. Verified no video poker at remodeled bar. Maybe you just misread your handwriting that there were prostitutes at the bar. :-). There are always lots of them there due to the fact the hotel is primarily utilized by pilots and conventioneers. One almost got whiplash today when I walked around the entire bar researching this post. Every year I attend a seminar at The Westin. Last year an Asian female coworker went down to the casino during a break and was mistaken for a working girl by a John.

For Bartop Bob I did a quick walk around. I only noticed 2 progressive machines on the floor. One 25c and one $1 9/6/4 Double Bonus Poker. If I had to venture a guess, it's where they dumped the bartop retired progressive jackpots.

Like I said before, AFAIK the current management does no mailers or marketing. The Max used to be a great place to play. No more.

Thank you for checking. You seem to be one of the more knowledgeable posters on this group. Your posts are always worth a look.

That was funny about the hookers.

Anyway, 9-6-4 DB is horrible. I actually like 9-6-5, but 9-6-4 is TOO TOUGH.

I remember when the place had 9-6 JoB and NSU for quarters, with .50% cashback, and comps that differed from machine to machine, or bank to bank. Oh well, suits ruined another one.

Thanks again for the report.
