Scot Krause's Slot Club Report - 7 APR 2015

A great column, Scot!

My question to the group. I wonder, are there any games in any of these places that are good enough to combine with these great slot club benefits and allow play with even a small advantage?

Scot begins a new weekly column this month, bringing readers
current information on the many and varied slot clubs
throughout Nevada (and some nationwide.) A different club
will be featured each week.

His goal is to inform players on club benefits and perks,
locations and linked clubs, how to earn/accrue points and
the value of those points, review tier levels offered and
how to achieve them and mention popular promotions.

I know there used to be a positive version of Bonus Deuces, but no longer. I think they removed that at least two or three years ago. I've looked at several Gamblers Bonus joints and have typically found 7-5 Bonus Poker or something similar, some places have added incentives, but I've never seen anything pushing it into positive range. It's been a fairly long time since I've looked at those, but frankly, if I had found something good, I honestly would probably not post it here. I think it's possible that notoriety got those Bonus Deuces kicked. It's too bad, too. But my knowledge of the whole system is stale, having been so long since I scouted. It's an interesting system, though. I wish there were something playable. And gosh, there's a gazillion places with Gamblers Bonus.

I believe Bob Dancer stated recently on his show that it is still occasionally on his play list when there is a good promotion. I haven't played Gamblers Bonus since I was 86'd from all Village Pub locations for playing the Deuces Plus game several years ago. It's my understanding that Gamblers Bonus made Village Pubs, against their wishes, remove the Deuces Plus game because GB no longer wished to offer a game with such a high return. Village Pubs wanted to offer the game but 86 players that had an IQ higher than their shoe size. Sound familiar? Village Pubs have the same owner as Ellis Island, Gary Ellis.
