Scot, In your column you wrote

I was at South Point last evening and there were no signs touting the
3x points. I asked at the slot club booth and they didn't know anything
about it.

What/Who was the source of your information?

There is a sign near the garage elevators advertising 3x points on
08.08.08.

The "casino" link on the left side of SouthPoint's home page, brings
up a page that has a small ad near the bottom that offers 3X points
on Friday, Aug. 8.
