My guess this is a "Bonus Multiplier" day for Platinum and above. This has
been a longstanding monthly promo for the three old southern Nevada outlets.
In Laughlin April 25th is the day. You swipe to activate a multiplier, 2x
for Platinum and 3x for Diamond. For every Base point you earn generates extra
Bonus points. Your Tier score doesn't benefit, just your comp account. Can't
help you to "Diamond in a Day" either.
Playing VP, normal base points add .1%, Slots .2%. The old properties have
these multipliers listed on the HET/TR site under the "events" page.
Other HET stores across the country have done stronger multipliers. I think
it was Joliet that did a 10x, if you showed up for 4 Mondays in a row.
