Say it ain't so...Barrick buys the GNL
This is big news. I always had the feeling T & T never felt that
Laughlin fit into their image. I also found this part of the article
interesting: "A Barrick executive said today that he doesn't expect
the acquisition of the 300-room Golden Nugget Laughlin to be the last
property the company will purchase in the Colorado River resort
community 90 miles south of Las Vegas."
I wonder which one will be the next to fall? I know the Flamingo has
been on the market for more than a year. What does all this mean to
gambling in Laughlin? Time will tell.
