Sassy Sue's Saloon Jukebox/Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall

The five Bally Gamemakers in the Sassy Sue's bartops are down on the south
end by the jukebox with the Bose speakers. Slowly, I have started to understand
how to make this thing make noise. It ain't your Daddy's jukebox. Thanks to
Hamstockman and his worldly experience of such matters, I now have
rudimentary knowledge of this new-fangled device.

The thing takes bills, of course. You currently get three "credits" per
dollar bill. You do get a discount for feeding in higher denomination bills,
though it ain't much.

There is a vast selection of artists, but alot of albums ony feature one song
from that album. The Frugal music player shoots for some long running songs.
They usually are not available.

But of course you can punch up any song known to man with two credits! Just
visit this other screen for details.

I did get to play 3 tunes off the fine U-2 album, The Joshua Tree-1984, for
the single rate of credits. The daytime bartender, Mark, commented that I did
a fine job of picking out some tunes.

Support your local Jukebox.

That south end of the bar is certainly a great place for a lazy
afternoon. They have some full pay games in there, excellent draft
beer, view of the river and the tunes (I think the term Jukebox is
out of date?). Glad to hear you got a compliment on your choice of
music. One time the bartender came over and turned down my choice of
songs to a whisper level. He said there were some down at the other
end that were ready to leave unless he unplugged that thing. Sorry-
just don't like Merle, Hank and Tammi.
