Santa Ana Star Slot Club

Still has $1 9/6 JOB progressive, but now there is a small sign on
each machine that states that these machines are no longer eligible
for slot club benefits. Progressive was up over $6000.00 but only
three people playing at an eight machine bank. These machines were a
great way to build up points and I guess management noticed(darn it!)

This casino, which is outside of Albuquerque, stopped giving points on
those machines a few months ago. I figured you could still earn comp
dollars since many folks continued playing with their players cards
inserted. Evidently now you earn nothing.

True. On the other hand, they're still 9/6 JOB.

The nearby Deuces machines ($1.00 per play) however, do give slot
benefits, and the progressive jackpot makes the play worthwhile. My
wife has hit the jackpot twice, but I haven't yet.

I'm working in Minneapolis right now, and as far as I can tell,
there's not much worth playing here at Mystic Lake or Treasure Island.
I think I'll pass on these casinos for now.

Hi Pat,

I haven't seen those deuces machines, but I haven't been up there in awhile. I wonder if the
progressive bank still has the "Over 100% return" signs above it.
