Valley View has a free lobster/king crab buffet (normally $27) plus
everything else just for signing up with their player's club. Also, a small
amount of play entitles you to $20 of free slot play.
Harrah's Rincon has VP pay tables that pretty much suck. The best at
Rincon is the progressive DDB $1 machines at the rear of the casino. The pay
table is 9/5- not TOO bad, but Valley View has 9/6 for the same game but no
progressive. I have never seen the progressive jackpot over $4600 at Rincon
so either the players are hitting the Royals or the casino keeps setting the
jackpot back.
Of the Indian casinos in North San Diego county, I would say that Pechanga
and Valley View have the best pay tables. Pechanga has a 9/6 DDB game for
quarters, which is not bad at all.
I don't play multi-line so I can't advise you there.
Enjoy!

Planning a trip in August to San Diego from the east coast; first and
probably last trip, so I am not looking for long term benefits, just
interested in playing some good games -- will probably stay a few nights at Harrahs
Rincon comped and then stay a week in La Jolla. Looking at database, it
looks like Valley View and Viejas have best selection of games (prefer
multiline $1, $2) -- are there any negatives about either place? How far are they
from Harrahs? Any other casino suggestions? How much coin in to earn comp
to nice restaurant / buffet? Any tips of any kind welcome. Thanks, RW.
