Sam's Town Mystery My Aunt F( )<#!*g Fanny

What is being staked or risked of ones value? Ones time? I do not
believed that ones time is risked "by showing up to the casino in order to play
their game which is presented as a game of chance". What is the risk? Was the
time lost? The time was used whether one was at Sam's Town or elsewhere,
other then six feet under the ground.

This is a gimmie. A freebie. A throw in. An extra. An added. Yes, let's get
the Gaming Board involved because the casino is giving something away to
us as a bonus that they do not have to but we don't like the form in which
this give us this bonus for free. Great idea. Brilliant. No wonder some
people kill many good opportunities with greed. No common sense.

I think legally you are wrong. In the "legal" sense time is not valued.
Retail chains always run these contests or drawings. Notice they always say
"no purchase necessary". This is a legal requirement so you're not risking
anything of value (money) to enter making it gambling. Time is not considered
and I have a feeling that if there was a court challenge to this it would
fail. I do believe this is a scam however (but patron beware).

As usual, I am very much in agreement with what you have posted. You are certainly one of the more sensible posters on this board. I will make it a point to always read one of your posts. I cannot believe this topic has turned into a long thread. Some people really think the casinos whole them a living. And they're never happy. Thanks for posting some common sense.

Perhaps you,
countgr82000, view your time, energy, and transportation costs as having no value.. others think these elements are VERY valuable commodities. Remember the purpose of the "freebie" is to get you in the casino....since we do that to play the game we have accomplished their purpose and have invested things (some) people value to do that. Gambling rules and laws should apply

It's taken up such as lot of space because a lot of us give it a shot every
Wednesday, when we're in town, and hardly ever get the 30X (only talking
about VP multipliers, anyone here won't likely care about slots).

Being an inquisitive (some would say nosey) sort, I always look over the
shoulder of the person ahead of me, as well as taking note of my own
results. Saw exactly one person get the 30X...have done only a small set of
samples (I'm non-local, but hit all four properties in the day when I'm
there), best I've ever had myself was 10X, usual result from 4X to 7X.

This thing is not random, though, and I don't think it qualifies as a
gamble--it's a promotion, and as others have said, there is not a 1/6
chance to get the big one, even if it shows up after you've picked another
one.

Two interesting things to try, perhaps--pick the same box every time--if
it's truly random, then odds are you'd see a big winner more often than I
did.
Also take a picture of the other boxes which show right after you make the
pick--see if the big one is in the same spot! If you're a real keener (like
me) set your camera for a burst picture (taking multiple shots per second)
to see it with greater clarity!

Anyhow, hope to be back in town to try it again...if anyone has any more
pointers, carry on!!!

Cheers!!
