I agree that this isn't good news as the quality of offers will get
reduced
because you will be perceived as playing less as a result. I just
recently
got a 3 night, and 2 meals for 2 offer instead of my usual 2 night
and one
meal for 2 offer. With this, I may backtrack again. But, as long as
it is
clearly posted on the machine that less points will be given, in
reality,
Sam's Town has the right to award points as they see fit. However,
there
are some alternatives. The 9/7 DB progressive behind the FPDW that
starts
at $1500 frequently gets in to positive territory and sometimes the
9/6 JOB
near keno (starts at $1000 and moves slowly) gets in to positive
territory.
Sam's Town doesn't have signs on either of these banks that the
machines are
100% thus this may be another way of still getting a good play
there. Use
of one's card at the buffet directly gets more than the official .16
value
and perhaps using more multiple point opportunities to compensate
might
help. Also, check out the 9/6 DDB progressive near the FPDW as well
- this
sometimes also gets positive. I
