I think a few months ago one of you asked about which casinos
subtract sales tax from comps. What happened to that?
Down in Laughlin the Pioneer does this. Your $6.99 buffet costs you
$7.47 from your comp account. None of the other joints includes tax.
Heck, River Palms even gives you an extra 10% off for being old,
a "young at heart" member.
The Pioneer also has a weird deal going in the new "Butts and Booze"
gift shop. You only can use comps in $5 increments, up to $15 a
day. You have to pay full sales tax too.
Shhh! Don't tell anyone but the Pints of Bacardi Rum are mispriced
compared to the other booze. Two 375ML are $3 cheaper than one 750
ML. The rest of the booze is about Safeway store prices.
