Sahara Las Vegas??

Hi Gang,
I'm travelling to Nevada in late July and will be spending a few nights
at the Sahara. I e-mailed the casino manager and he said they have
many varieties of Jacks of Better and Deuces Wild games and more. Has
anyone been there recently and what was your experience? Thanks and
good luck. Paul

By many varieties, he means you can take your pick of bad paytables.
They have a DDB game in the 99% range with horrendous variance. The
Sahara is great for a few coupons and the poker tournaments.

Mr.Eversman, please refer to the VPfree glossary and look up

Illinois
Dueces', beause thats about the best 'variety' of Deuces Wild the
Sahara
has. The Sahara, alas many other Strip casinos, used to be an
excellent place to play 15 years ago. Then the knowlegebale player
boom,
spearheaded by a certain guru, completely changed the strip VP
scene.
Several burn-out artists and countless VPFree and BDC fleas almost
overnight turned the strip VP landscape into a barren wasteland.
There
is much better VP/RFB value on the outlying strip properties. Use
the "Las Vegas cross directory" section of this website as a
starting
point. Also, I wouldnt recommend emailing any casino/slot manager
about their VP inventory. These people have become ultra paranoid to
the point where you run 10K through a 99.5% game and get pegged as
an
advantage player. This jepardizes your slot club benefits, maybe
worse.
