Sahara 25c DDB

The casino database shows Sahara has ten 25c DDB machines with 100.5%
return - I assume this is because of higher payouts for RF and
sequential RF but I can't find a DDB pay table anyplace that shows
this.
If this is true why isn't this the hottest VP on the strip? Is it
because you have to play for weeks to get a sequential RF and you
would need a huge bankroll?

Also any comments on the Sahara and any good offers/tips? I'm a
relative newbie to Vegas planning my second trip. I'm looking for a
CHEAP strip hotel that still has some glitz (ie not Rodeway Inn) where
I can play some relaxed high-ER VP and not worry too much about how
much I will donate to the casino.

Also anyone know a good realtor since I'd like to set up a day looking
at houses while there. What are the differences between areas for
locals?
Sunrise vs Summerlin vs North vs Henderson etc.? Is it all solid
suburbia outside the strip and downtown or are there pockets of higher
crime etc to avoid? I'm looking at moderate homes maybe $250k.

We used our friends, Ed and Sharon House(neat name for a Realtor!!!) to buy our condo and have recommended them to scores of others who have had good success with them. Tell them the Frugal Gambler sent them!!!!

The Sahara is an older hotel with older rooms that are clean
and average in my experience. Their comp policy has been
inconsistent although they seem to be sending out more offers
recently, some with small amounts of free play. I also know that
sometime last spring, they reduced cashback on all VP to .25 (slots
are still .5).
     The DDB machines you mention take an average of a couple
million hands before getting a sequential royal. The extra 2000
coins for a non-sequential royal does make this game about break
even. However, DDB by it's very nature is very volatile. If you
hit a bad streak with few quads or don't hit a higher valued quad
you can easily lose $500 in a few hours.
     My playing experience is usually to play these machines for 2-4
hours at a time. These machines still have the older software on
them so who knows how long they will still be up and running. You
can get over 600 hands an hour on them pretty easily though. Hope
this info helps a little.
