I am sad to read this news. Elliott was a real gentleman.

Last summer, when Elliott was trying to locate a missing person, I
sent him a private message containing some information about a
successful search that I had made previously. He immediately sent
me back a note of thanks, and included a "secret" advantage play to
use the next time I was in LV.

He was one of the good guys and will be missed on this board.

My heartfelt condolences to his wife and VP partner.

From what I've seen, their marriage was the standard by which all
marriages should be measured. They ALWAYS wanted to be with each
other. It was a little difficult to even see them as individuals. I
always considered greeting either of them as greeting both of them.
Elliott was generous with me, too. He often turned down business
benefits I'd offer him. Once, the 3 of us were "negotiating" a
business deal. He and I were trying to outdo each other in how much
we were going to give up to the other, Joanie was just rolling her
eyes, and I said something to her like "I'm trying to cut you a good
deal here, but I'm up against a tough negotiator." After that, I
never worried about getting at least a fair "shake" from them.
