I never wrote the mail asking for funds. Someone must be using my email
address.

Any suggestions how I stop this.

Thanks

Have you considered the fact that it is pretty much a universal feature
of email clients that once you click 'send' the compose window goes
away? i.e. duplicate messages (and for what it's worth I only received
one copy of Mark's reply) are generally NOT a product of someone actually
stupidly clicking Send on the same message over and over, but a glitch
in either their mail client, or an intermediate mail server handling
the message.

Email on the Internet generally travels as

sender -> sender's outgoing server -> ... -> recipient's incoming
server -> recipient's inbox.

The ... can be zero or more intermediate mail servers. At any point
along this chain, there is the possibility (fortunately rare) that
the receiving agent thinks the transaction has succeeded and dutifully
forwards the message along the chain, yet the sending agent thinks the
transaction *failed* and therefore tries it again.

Mark,
   Is it possible that after these EIGHT consecutive identical replies, that

you might just have just enough energy left to remove your damn finger from
the send key?

----And got at least 5 from you Nudge. How's your finger today? :slight_smile: What's
going on with all the duplicate messages coming thru???

My apologies to Mark, as it appears that I am getting a number of duplicates from multiple posters. Since my system is scanned daily, I am thinking that Yahoo has a glitch.

I just recently changed my passwords including Yahoo pswd and adding a security seal. I also found that my forward email option was changed to someone with a yahoo address.

I,too,have in the last few days received duplicate emails. They were from different sources. I use Outlook Express and cox.net. No connection to Yahoo. I thought it was quite strange! Katy
