Sachem downgrade?

Any here ever been downgraded from Sachem (or know anyone that has
been)? I've had Sachem status since around Feb 2005. Haven't
received my renewal card yet (it expired 9/30 like the rest of you).

Just wondering if I've been downgraded. For over a year or so
leading up to my receiving Sachem status, it wasn't unusual for me to
break $250,000 coin-in on a weekend trip (mostly $1 PE, some $5 PE).
Ironically, I had pretty much stopped taking regular trips to MS
about a month before they sent me my Sachem card -- this was around
the time that MS cut the $1 FP PE machines in half (converted half to
quarters) and downgraded the $5 PE machines (which they later
reversed but cut the point gain on).

I've been Sachem ever since Feb 2005, but for the most part, my play
since that time has not approached my pre-Sachem levels. Probably
$60-70,000 coin-in on a good trip. I was there a couple weeks ago
(rare now), with maybe $35K coin-in.

My guess is that my play level at this point would at least warrant
Sagamore status, but I haven't received anything at all. Just
curious if anyone has any experience with being downgraded at MS?

I did receive (and collect) the free cruise offer in August, and
150+50 free points for later this month, which looks to be the middle
range of points awarded.

Thanks for those that responded to my original post.

Just a quick update -- looks like I was definitely downgraded. I
received a mailer for a $49 room offering last week. I haven't seen
anything but free room offers in a couple years. In addition to not
receiving a renewal for my Sachem card, I did not even receive a
Sagamore card.

The same thing happened to me. I did not get a new sachem card in
the mail and my new room offer was for 49. I called VIP services

they confirmed the rate. I thought this was an error so I emailed

my

host who got the whoe thing straightened out. She says there has
been a lot of confusion and appologizd for it. I would call your
host or any host and see if the new rate is accurate.
